  • SAND in the fool's eyes"

  • the watch phone is f*cking awesome!! I f*cking love it

  • @Fullperson ppl that have phones and video comm. on them lol

  • Who still uses watches?

  • can i call anyone on the watch phone for free?

  • Yeah, 24 FPS conversion to 60 FPS is tough, but 24 divides nicely into 120. My blu-ray player even has a "cinema" mode where it outputs the signal at 24 Hz, and it works especially nice with the 120 Hz LCD (both my player and TV are Samsung).

240 Hz might be a little better... but more interpolation without more source information might not help much (but I haven't seen a 240 Hz set so I don't know!).

  • lol, that's getting kind of ridiculous.

As long as film is shot at 24 fps, there isn't going to be much benefit to interpolation at higher and higher frequencies.

Having broadcasts at actual 120 Hz would be amazing, but I don't see that coming for a looong time. Hell, we can't get most of America to switch to HDTV yet.

  • 480 is already out. Has been out for a little under a year. Panasonic makes it.
