I reside in the Midwest US, I grew up listening to German carols, this is a pleasure to hear again.

Our school choir is singing the german version of this song! Our small, 12 membered chamber choir is really good. We are so excited! :D

I'm assuming most of these comments are from other countries, not the USA. I am very glad to hear that you are performing this song in your schools. The schools here in the United States are trying their best to eliminate all references to Christmas. Very sad. Merry CHRISTmas to you all.
