  • This guy is fabulous author. We are reading Death and the King's Horseman in my African Literature course and I loved it. He is a true role model for Nigerians everywhere.

  • @Melpomena27 Soyinka does not believe in God, so why thank Him for the Nobel Laureate?

  • What a man! Thank you God for creating these people so that we don´t sink into the mud of global political correctness....

  • @fedechar what a blind bat you are

  • Jesus Christ! She's freakin' beautiful!!! Uh, oh yeah. Much honor and love to the elder Wole!

  • What a beautiful mind...

  • Soyinka has formed a party. Will it be like the confraternity he formed as a student to 'save' the university as a student which turned out 2 be the bane of Nigerian education. Every political party comes 2 'save', even PDP. Every Nigerian ruler has always been a champion of fighting corruption. I have visited the new parties website, and none of the founding members can boast of anything good that they have done for Nigeria so far. I rather vote for the devil I know than the angel I don't know

  • Am one of those struggling with the idea of returning to such a shameful country. I may be proud of my heritage but I am ashamed of what my country as become.

  • A true Legend, an Inspiring Genius, Whose mastery of the English Language is likened to aristocracy, a true Genius of mind. Am truly inspired, only frustration is why people like him never seem to be able to get to the top, where it matter’s, obviously recognise his achievements, but wish he could be entrusted in a political position where his passion, knowledge and genius could be better utilised.

  • What a great man!!!!!!!!!!!!
