Feeding Oscar in the 45 Gallon Grow-Out tank! feeding him some frieze dried Hikari bloodworms. As stated in my other vids, this tank is a grow out tank and none of these fish will be staying in this tank. Within the next few months, I will have TWO 55 gallon tanks! One of the 55 gallon tanks will be just for Oscar. Hes 2"-3" in this vid and his diet consists of hikari bloodworms(frozen & frieze dried) , hikari cichlid gold and cichlid staple pellets.
So thanks for watching and tell me how u like Oscar

the red tailed shark. you only see him in the very first seconds of the video but he was deff the most aggressive at that time. I ended up having to donate the red tail to my local fish store because he grew 5 inches and was VERY aggressive...shortly after i donated him, i was able to get the 75 gallon tank...i wished i hadn't gave him up! But now i have a rainbow shark in the 75

well if your Oscar is new to your tank, no matter what size or how old it is, if he's new to your tank, it will take a little while for him to get comfortable with comming up to the top freely like this. they usually get comfortable enough within the first 7 days and they will eventaully decide to come up to the top for food, once they realize its safe, they always come up to the top when you walk by the tank and they will eat out of your hand!
