How would I solve 3sin2x-1 in the same way in your video?
zacmiley12 2 months ago
@zacmiley12 I assume you mean 3sin2x-1 = 0
bring the 1 over: 3sin2x = 1
divide both sides by 3: sin2x = 1/3
Solve for 2x: 2x = sin^-1(1/3)
Divide by 2: x = (1/2)sin^-1(1/3)
In degrees: x = (1/2)[19.47,160.53] 180 - 19.47 = 160.53 degrees
Therefore x = 9.735, 80.265
In radians x = 0.1699, 1.4009

Thanks for the comment. It is good to hear when someone finds my videos clear and helps them understand some math.
