Marissa G. Espino is a photography enthusiast who traveled 34 countries to capture beauty and perfection through the lens. Her photographs won in local and international competition with others published in the Life and Leisure Section of the Philippine Daily Inquirer. After a view of Mount Everest in 2008, "Mae" went to Tibet to prepare for her 5Oth Birthday Photo Exhibit. Barely two days on high altitude ground, Mae made her peaceful journey Home. Having been intimate with Christ, prayers found in her journals are quoted for this video. She came, she lived and she left in "style".... Mae is the oldest of four children (Leah, Nilo, Noe) of Catalino and Iluminada Espino. She was an artist, a traveler and a teacher. Her outpouring of self for others with poetry in notes leave warm memories of the Love she gave to all....
Dear Mae,
You will always be in our hearts. You left this world doing the thing that you love the most... taking wonderful moments and sceneries and preserving them in photographs. We envy you because you have seen the beauty of the world first hand. But we will always remember you in your works... the footprints that you left behind to remind us we all live in a wonderful world... if only we'll take time to stop and capture the beauty of every moment. Rest in peace, our dear Mae.
