**This video tutorial feature closed captioning with drawing tips you may find helpful. Turning on subtitle captioning is recommended**

I will be showing you how I drew a computer image of C.C. from Code Geass using both Illustrator and Photoshop CS3.

Why go through the trouble to do such a self imposed task? Well there's three reasons: first I noticed the kind feedback I received from people on my first submission (even though it sucked XD), second, I noticed that there is a lack of decent speed drawings or digital tutorials on how to draw of C.C. (or anyone else from Code Geass for that matter), and lastly, because she is just SO DAMN MOE!!

Whoo hoo! I was able to get the settings almost perfectly for the HD aspect ratio! This means I must be getting better! XD

I must admit, this may just be the best work I've done. Sorry to disappoint all my vector drawing fans out there, but I since I used Photoshop, the end result isn't a vector type :(
Yeah, I know it kinda sucks, but people started complaining on how my images looked too "cartooni~ish", and lacked special effects, intricate shading, and other things that can only be done on raster-type images. There's no way I can please people from both sides. At least until I get better...

The deviantArt download will be (as always) a completely editable, vector, pdf source format :)

The total drawing time was about 2 hours and 40 minutes

Since I'm a nice guy who likes to serve the youtube community, I'll be taking anime requests. One suggestion will be chosen each week should I choose to undertake it. Just tell me the name of the character, and the anime from where it's from. The picture will then be put on my deviantArt and also here on youtube with a tutorial vid of how I did it. In addition, the image on my DeviantArt account will be made in a special PDF format that can be opened and treated as an illustrator source and be made available for public download! So yeah, just leave me a suggestion, and I'll do my best.

Please enjoy the video

You can go there and download my pics in a special PDF format that allows you to open it up as source once you download it! Yep, layers and all!
That means after downloading you can open it up in Illustrator (only) and change the colors and stuff. You're allowed to make any changes you want, just be sure to give me credit if you use it.

Hope you've enjoyed this video.

Enjoy

I would like to take this time to first of all to thank you for taking the time to read all the stuff I write (maybe you need a life... lol), and also to thank my supporters those of you who leave me comments of support (they literally fuel me, so if you don't see me making new vids, that's why...)
OMG! I've got the ultimate idea! From now on, I'm gonna make ultra-friggin-insanely-high-picture- quality-videos! I dunno how it occurred to me... but yeah after looking back at my last two vids, I can't say I'm 100% happy with the video compression quality. I plan to make it lots better and with closed captioning again!
Fwwwaahahahaha!!!

  • @MrSketchtastic I remember when I used to feel like that... but don't fret too much about it... Windows has improved a bit now after their latest release. Both OSs have been learning from each other and have even become similar in many ways. Both OSs are quite capable when it comes to media arts as far as performance goes...

  • hmmm a VERY good idea... yes sure, I'd be glad to make a tutorial maybe later this week. I'd probably make a great instructor for this sort of thing since I know it so well and I cover things in great detail... A very good suggestion thanks ^_^
