news flash: tempature has dropped over the past 5 years, leveling off, indicating a natural cycle of warming and cooling.

Biofuels are destroying the world and if it carrys on ther will be no forests and no animals STOP BIOFUEL before its to late

Deforestation, farming land that is too hilly to farm because of erosion. Pesticides, chemical fertilizer, fuel to farm, fuel to transport, fuel to make the biofuel. Large amounts of pollution to do all of this. Biofuels are a false promise that is stealing resources from actually finding an alternative energy source. Not to mention Global warming is another lie, check it out.

Biofuels need eco-certification...no two ways about it. Without eco-certification they should not be counted as a green fuel. This is primarily the responsibility of any country that mandates use of biofuels.

Algae is one of the best sources of biodiesel. It has higher yield values than soy or palm and it can be cultivated in humongous water tanks in the desert or in the ocean. The biodiesel extraction technology for algae is still developing but has shown to be very clean and possible in barren, arrid areas of the planet where no other crop is able to be grown. So Greyfalcon, rather than dissing biofuels altogether, try looking down the road when they will finally be a viable and clean alternative.
