The first installment of 'real doctors, real people,' introduces James Yankaskas. His career started him off designing planes. He is now a pulmonologist at UNC Hospitals. He has combined the two lives and it has served him well.
Great use of one man's desire to fly. I am a 3,300 hour commercial/Instrument twin pilot, but never flew for a living... while I used aviation to achieve goals in a different (software) business, the value can't compare to that of this dedicated doctor. Just one more example of medical excellence "outside the box" at UNC Chapel Hill.

Seems like an excellent doctor. Everyone should have access to healthcare like this. Great video.
