All along the coast of Maine, fishermen, conservation groups and community members are coming together to discuss ways to help the Gulf of Maine's fisheries rebound. This eight-minute video features the perspectives of fishermen, scientists and conservationists. Through interviews and stunning footage, the film explores Maines fishing history, the current state of depleted fish stocks, and innovative ways to restore balance to the ecosystem—for the benefit of nature as well as coastal economies.
There was too much repetition of the need and desire for a compromise solution. I would have been very interested to hear how people propose to solve the problem.
