Beware of the Collector's Coach and the Deangelis Brothers!

I really, really wish I didn't have to do this. The Deangelis brothers seem like such great guys. Here are some links describing their dubious past:

My story: Submitted an order for two American Silver Eagle rolls at fightingforsilver.com on Sun 02/20/11. Silver price spikes from 32.66/oz to 33.49/oz from Sunday to Monday. My price for the two rolls: $1300. That's 32.50 per coin, no extra fees. That's under spot price for coins that usually carry a $2-5 premium. Too good to be true?

Was quoted 6-8 week delivery. Asked to deposit funds directly into their bank account, which I did. No confirmation e-mail, no PayPal allowed, all over the phone.

Three weeks later, I am alerted to the fraud. I remind Timothy Deangelis that I was planning on making an "unboxing" video for him to post to my YouTube channel and looked forward to getting my silver. I get a call two days later to confirm that I will be home for the delivery. I get my silver on Monday the next week.

Not only did I buy silver eagles UNDER SPOT, I also received chocolates, a book, more silver coins, and other items valued at about $70-80. A business cannot operate by giving everybody this many freebies. They counted on my advertising to get more people into their coin scam.

If you've ordered silver from these guys, I sincerely hope that you get your silver, and I have to eat my hat. But all signs point to SCAM.

If you can, buy your bullion local. Hold it in your hand before you buy it. If you must buy online, go to a reputable dealer.

Sounds like he admits to everything that happened in the past, admits to being a convicted felon, admits that he has had and has lawsuits against him, but somehow has the audacity to deny involvement with the scam. "It was all my brothers." Yet Jack actively promotes his brother's (Micheal Timothy Deangelis') website and I find it very hard to believe he has no involvement whatsoever with his brother's silver business.

The Deangelis brothers are in damage control mode.

Since the video, I have gotten reports of people receiving PARTIAL orders from Fightingforsilver/Silverboxingcorp. It doesn't make sense. Why pay for shiping two or three times for one order?

Use your own judgment, and don't stay silent.

Davincij15 is no longer appearing as a guest on the Collector's Coach Radio show.

CharlesFuchs has marked all but two of his videos as "private." You can no longer see his unboxing video in which he praises fightingforsilver.com. Since this scam, he has effectively dropped off the map.

Micheal Timothy Deangelis has begun posting videos on his YouTube page. They look pretty phony to me. You can see them here: http://www.youtube.com/fightingforsilver

Just saw his response. Hard to believe he admitted lying to the justice system to try to protect his thieving brother. Loyalty is a great thing, of course, but I don't think it excuses protecting someone who stole massive amounts of other people's money. Makes you wonder if he'd choose loyalty to friends, family, or business partners over the truth - again.

He's a personable character and good speaker, but I find that a lot of schemers are.
