    To be honest, I'm not really sure how long the tree took to cut. I need to start giving some of the run times in my write-ups!

  • Yes, I was on your site; that's how I found the video. Thanks for the quick reply. I was actually wondering how long the CNC machine took to create this. I've been slowly learning myself. In fact, I used your guide for the 12x7 modifications to assemble my own. Thank you for detailing it.

  • @secretsather - I'm using the F8 lead screw on the X-axis only. Even the one axis is a big improvement since most movement is not purely in the Y direction.

    To get to the point you see here was probably 4 months of learning all the details involved, and modification since I started out with some other components. The kit itself isn't too hard though. Check out jcopro.net under the CNC section - I've tried to chronicle most of what I did with it.

  • How long did it take to make this? Are you using the F8 lead screw?
