Janie Fricke's "Pass Me By (If You're Only Passing Through) was a #22 Country Music Hit in 1980. It was from her Columbia Records LP "From the Heart" released in 1979. Janie Fricke started in Country Music doing backing vocals then doing duets with Country Music stars like Johnny Duncan and Charlie Rich before becoming a star Female Vocalist. Janie Fricke was CMA Female Vocalist of the Year in 1982 and 1983. Janie was a hit maker in Country Music between 1977 and 1987. As of 2011 Janie Fricke still tours and records Country Music.
