I believe that he's wrong ... the further the blocks .. you would need more tonnage to straighten the piece ... metal bends to a point then you start to break the " fiber" ... the closer .. the smaller surface area would require less power to straighten it ... 6 years in the pipe straightening business and having to keep up to robots ...
