In April of 2004 Pat Tillman was killed in Afghanistan by what the United States then called accidental friendly fire. Now, three years later, new evidence is showing that Tillmans death may not have been an accident.

At the time that Dr Mallak said that he didn't think Tillman could have been shot with 3 rounds in such a small area from the distance the army claimed, he was under the impression that the bullets which killed Tillman came from an M16 or an M4 Carbine. In fact, the gun that killed Tillman was an M249 Squad Automatic Weapon wielded by fellow Army Ranger Trevor Alders. This weapon in the hands of a competent marksman can easily put 3 rounds in a 2" circle from 50 yards.
