In July of 2005, Zack Weinstein was canoeing with a group of friends down the Saco River, in Maine. While jumping into a shallow part of the river, Zack broke his neck. At nineteen-years-old he became a C5-C6 Quadriplegic. In service to others facing life-altering injuries we teamed up with Zack to create "BACK IN LIFE". Our hope is that by sharing Zack's powerful experiences, the film may provide others with needed strength in an oftentimes daunting struggle.

Feedback:
"I think that the 14 minutes that I spent watching "BACK IN LIFE" are some of the best minutes that I've ever spent. I am also a quadriplegic who had a diving accident July 8, 2004, approximately a year before Zack's. You all have a true gift and talent for capturing "the real story" in your work.
Thank You." -Taylor Price

  • I have read and seen many stories of people--mostly guys--but a few girls diving into lakes, rivers and pools headfirst.

I have jumped feet first into several myself, only to discover the water was no deeper than my waist or chest. The point is this--

One second of showing off is not worth a lifetime of consequences. Think before you act.

  • I think I saw Zach at one of Jesse Ruben's show. I didn't know who he was, but I just thought he is probably Jesse's friend, and all his friends seemed like the nicest people on earth:) Now, I know who Zach is and understand why I felt the way I did when I saw him and his friends. What an amazing/positive guy..and a bunch of awesome people around him.. I want to show your video to my little brother who suffers from heart disease. Zach reminds me of him..Thank you so much for sharing his story!

  • I don't think it's possible to watch this and not feel an array of different emotions, just incredible!
