Genes for Codeine and MorphIne Production in Poppies

Researchers at the University of Calgary have discovered the unique genes that allow the opium poppy to make codeine and morphine, opening the door to alternate methods of producing these effective painkillers either by manufacturing them in a lab or controlling the production of these compounds in the plant.

hey 1UL1U if you want to get really stoned , just put about 30 poppies & the stems in a big pot & , boil that for 12 hours & you`ll be very Stoned for a few days. no bull.add water, keep it at just boiling, you will end up with a thick Black stuff,put that in Hot tea & drink and let the good times roll
