Episode 019: Frank's zoo

This episode looks at one of the few games that I own which has literally been worn out. We have played this game so much that the cards are physically worn down. My feeling is that, if you play a game that much, the designer and publisher can gladly have another 15 bucks for all the fun I had.

Frank's zoo is a trick taking game with shifting partners each round. Easy to teach and very visual, it is a game that combines a fair amount of strategy with just enough luck to let the best laid plans go awry.

mh well. first of all we do exactly the oposite of what you do.

we completely ignore the entire team thing because it gets too confusing and defeats the purpose of the simplicity of the game itself. just try to play your cards as quick as you can and get as many lions and hedhehogs as you can.

also. the mosquito turning into an elephant.. it's a language thing. in dutch (and german i guess) making an elephant of a mosquito means making a mountain of a molehill.. hope you guys get it:)
