@inputdejv Oh yes, Ino Audio is the super awesome! Imagine fat SID through those puppies :)
-
Dude! Ino Audio ftw ;)

@bentlovemusic Thanks! Sometimes I find the bleed through a bit annoying but most of the time it's hidden in the mix and becomes more charming than anything.

:D from another midibox SID owner I appreciate the slight bleed through the filter/amp I can hear on this video :)

What did you pay for it? it sounds a bit hum/noisy though, maybr thru better shielding sound can be improved?

@WackyJackyTracky I got it in a trade so I'm not sure exactly what I payed. Perhaps around $450-500 is what they go for? Or more? The hum is from the SID itself, they are noisy buggers :) I'd need a noise gate to get rid of it.

@7thDanSound Oh is the 8581 just as a noisy bugger like the 8580? I would recommend you an Behringer 2Ch Denoiser, they work much more inaudible with their filter circuits than simple gates, especially on sounds with some decay/release

@WackyJackyTracky Thanks for the recommendation! Yeah I think both chips and all revisions are more or less noisy, I haven't done any comparisons however.

@WackyJackyTracky Sorry, I got it prebuilt so I have no idea where they found the parts...
