Potential conflicts are brewing between the nations that share the Nile River Basin. The days of the Nile only nourishing Egypts great demand for water might be rapidly coming to an end. Sudan, Ethiopia and Uganda are geographically located in the larger Nile basin and control the sources of the river. In recent years they have been demanding a greater share of the Niles precious resource as demand come closer to overtaking this finite supply. All 13 countries with access will have to come to agreements on how to share the Nile. Will this be the cause of the next war?

  • Ethiopia is proud of Africa all the time. It not only b/c the beginning of mankind but also the beginning of civilization. After all, the only uncolonized people. Any one have the right not to know or not to remember this truth. Noooooooo one can defeat Ethiopia confidently. We are not enemies of Egypt rather dictators of Egypt are our enemies. It should be known that we are working to feed our country Ethiopia not to starve Egyptian brothers.

  • @etch360 Ok, then why are Egyptians complaining about upstream countries, like Ethiopia, using their Nile waters? By the way, when you say that Egypt is thousands of years old, are you talking about the people that were there before Arabs?

  • @monica24b

lol i know this is a very late response but. srsly WTF loooooooooooool from all those comments i read under this vid, ur comment is one of the most stupid ever... it shows how ignorant u r.

Egypt is thousands of years old, i can't even imagine some africans could turn Egypt to desert hell.

FYI Egypt has other sources for water which is as good as the nile btw. we have underground water like the rest of sahara desert plus we can use the meditarrenian and the red sea.. so, FU

  • @elegator911 A thief will remain a thief. Come and get the water like your ancestors tried and FAILED !!

  • I don't get it.. most of the water ends up in the sea anyway. So what's the problem?

  • @Keezih Name the deals if you know what they are

  • @Keezih

So suddenly Egypt is defender of the right of Ethiopians ha. So you are threatening subversion if you do not have the Nile. I say go try it. Come with all you have got and take what you want. First of all you know so little about Ethiopia what you talk about is a joke. Second your arrogance have killed your common sense

  • @katkoot229

Who cares what Egyptians soldiers sing. Is this supposed to scare us Ethiopians. Why don't you guys learn to negotiate. You want to use all the water while we go thirsty. You mean we will just see the water go all the way to Efypt while we are starving. What kind of selfishness is this

  • @katkoot229 Eritreans are our slaves, they will not attack us, right now the Dictator of Eritrea is 100% from Ethiopia (tembien and Adwa Ethiopia), he is controlling the 5 million Eritreans in his pocket. They are being destroyed and decimated as we speak. Ethiopian agent in Asmara is doing a good job butchering Eritreans. Soon we will block all nile water from reaching Egypt and force you all to move to Tel Aviv or Riyadh

  • Zinaw watch out we are coming for you

Did you know that while Egyptian army train they sing if we dont protect the nile we don't deserve to live
