There's no commandment to court, date, or have an arranged marriage. We only have principles to go on. While, I don't see anything wrong with either of those approaches, they all possess certain weaknesses. Saying courting is the "only" way would be like saying we can't use guns in warfare because the Bible only gives us examples of ancient weaponry. Dating is associated with the automobile, and is therefore a modern phenomenon which the Bible doesn't address. Would you agree with that?

If one is a funadmental reader of Scripture and wants to follow the example given, without compromising with modern values, then you have to read the examples and instruction given in the Bible ONLY.
There is no example, endorsement or instruction to date. NONE. Arrangements are the way to go, regardless of culture or time.
Since the wife is there to help the man fulfill his ministry for God, if she's a feminist or otherwise compromised believer, marrying her would be a big mistake.
