Joshua Pettus sings "Lost In You" by Garth Brooks (as Chris Gaines)

This weekend I sang at a Valentines Dinner, and I chose to sing "Lost In You" by Garth Brooks that was recorded back during his short phase as his "alter-ego", Chris Gaines. The concept of the album was a little strange, but the CD is actually really great. I've been listening to it a bit this week, and I "rediscovered" this song. I really liked it, and it seemed to be liked by all last night.

One unique thing for this song is that it is sung using mostly falsetto. Since I'm typically a bass/baritone, I did have to lower the pitch one step, but I'm pleased with the way it turned out. I recorded this Friday afternoon, and in doing so gave me an opportunity to memorize all the words.
