Root canal treatment of a c-shaped lower second molar. The deep split has been tricky, because both canals were severly curved on the last 2 mm and previous treatment by the referring dentist has caused a huge ledge right at the point of the bifurcation. The wire x-ray on the lingual canal has been taken right to the end (EFL=0). Therefore the Masterpoint in the lingual canal seems to be short. Could manage to stay patent and to place the masterpoints in both canals. Obturating started with the buccal canal, because direct view to the canal was not possible and I preferred to have a good view on the orifice of the lingual canal. Would have been more satisfied getting a better shape in the lingual canal, but 30/04 prebended NiTi was all I could get around the curvarture. First modified Schilder-technique then squirting for the C. Will post the recalls on Roots.
simply fantastic Jorg!!!!
