I got the Vita on launch date, it was well worth the money. Can't say the same about the 3DS.

You said in your deleted comment that the 3DS has outsold the Vita, "enough said." That's like saying that Call of Duty's sales mean it's better than Deus Ex, or that Justin Bieber is a talented musician. Nintendo created a horrible piece of hardware and used the rest of their budget on marketing. That's why it's selling well, because of their damn marketing. I miss them having decent handhelds a lot.

Absolutely, the thing's an abomination. Its screens suck(240p, LCD, lower's resistive), its control inputs are disappointing(biggest complaint of the PSP was one analog nub, repeated six years later in the 3DS; also only one resistive screen, no capacitive and it's the screen you don't focus on), the Vita is around 15-20x as powerful as the 3DS while having slightly better battery life, the 3DS' online capabilities suck and its multitasking is nonexistent. It's a sickeningly bad abomination.

Hahahahahaha, no. Noooo. The 3DS is technically a very disappointing device, only marginally more powerful than a PSP and around 1/20th as powerful as the Vita. I build PCs for a living and spend free time modding consoles to make them portable and stuff like that, I can say without any doubt that the 3DS is impossibly weak. I don't even understand how they could've made it THAT weak, especially with a $250 launch price. The original iPhone is more powerful than the piece-of-shit 3DS, no joke.

3DS is technically very impressive. RE:Revelations looks stunning, better than RE5 IMHO, and seems to have something RE5 lacked; interesting and atmospheric surroundings.

The 3DS is fine, technically, but Nintendo do need to bring out a revised version with longer battery life and two slide pads. The Vita is cool but like the 3DS has short battery life.
