they do have equipment that allows the ankle or thigh section to rotate, and the tension (resistance when turning) is adjustable. ask your prosthetist because it helps alot when turning. if he says they dont exist then hes dumb.

i think it stil have room for improvement although it look quite natural, i think the lack of the ankle movement. if someone could improve on that it will be great.

@scottdebra07 oh ok. i lost my left leg to cancer too. ostiosarcoma (if thats how you spell it) i just finished up my therapy at st.jude earlier this year ^_^ (thank god. i dont like that place)

@HimeGirl15 .......yes, but he has been going through therapy to try and bring back more of his mobility. he lost his leg when he was 7 to cancer. He is 16 now.

@scottdebra07 does he have hip disarticulation? because im the same way. i lost my leg when i was 14. (15 now)

I haven't heard of the C-leg. My son, Joey, is a left leg amputee and would like to snow board. he doesn't have much of his leg left to attach to. We have a hard time finding a leg that is going to work for him. Any suggestions on who I can contact. you can email me at scottdebra05@yahoo.com.
yeah, it's too bad it's so expensive, If it wasn't then a wider market of people would buy it. $27,000 just for the knee on Ebay.

Got my new C-leg last year. Made a BIG difference but still having problems walking downhill. Gotta learn to trust it!

@adman1048 Trust is the first and the best way to learn. You can trust the c-leg my friend. This knee is safe!
