Must have been a special permit tag or Draw hunt because modern fire arm Mule deer seasons are in October in Washington and the late buck hunts are for Whitetail only near spokane and Blacktail only on the coast in November.

Nice shot, good buck. I hunt the area around waterville and north of quincy for my mulies. Last year I went up to Ardenvoir for the general hunt for a day or two.

Thanks. It was a fun hunt. I just wish there would have been more weather. Lots of bucks, just not enough snow to push down the real big boys. I shot that buck on Nov. 13 and look at the blue bird sky and all the sunshine, definitely not typical weather for that time of the year.
