Chris Frampton's unmistakable actors headshots have been called engaging, a breath of fresh air, and the best in town by actors, agents, casting, and teachers.
Chris's approach is social, creative, and market-minded, and produces packages that instantly and measurably change how an actor auditions.
"It amazes me that photographers still shoot actors in that stagy, old-fashioned style," he says of the majority of headshot photography. "You can't expect an 'I can be anyone' neutral picture or a black & white shot of you in an alley to inspire anybody. It just doesn't work like that anymore."
As a former actor himself, Chris knows how an actor's headshots work out in the world. Through his 20s Chris acted on Canadian TV and in commercials, and even worked as Ethan Hawke's stunt double, before turning a borrowed camera and a flair for personal service into a booming commercial and editorial photography studio with hundreds of clients a year in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal.

This is well-produced and, generally, I really liked the work that I saw. A few images, however, were less appealing. I take the points that you were making about injecting personality into these headshots and the impact that can have on the actor's career, and I agree. However, some of the less appealing shots don't work for me because they were almost as bland as the traditional shots you eschew. All said with respect. And I did "like" the video.
