Taken December 5th 2009 with a GoPro Hero camera over my toque. Silver Star Mountain's Putnum Creek area. I ride for Fat-ypus skis, I am riding there all new 186 I-Rock http://www.fatypus.com/ . music at http://thedeadlysyndrome.com/
It is unreal in powder, and you can really lay it over on the groomers. you can charge hard on the gnarly crud, but since its so wide, it doesn't punch through hard stuff as easy as a thinner ski. it probably has 50-60cm of actually turning surface before the early rise begins.
I stand 6'2" without skis and on, and I dont find them washing out at all. The day before I filmed this I was doing those same runs 15-20secs faster. the early is very low profile, but still makes a difference
nleboe nice video!
How would rate the I-Rock on stability and groomer/hard snow performance?
Also how much camber does it have?
