This is a Michel Gondry commercial. He's the director of "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and "Be Kind, Rewind". The effect you're seeing here is the birth of "bullet time" used later in the Matrix.

can anyone tell me if smirnoff used "Bullet Time" in this ad before the matrix was around?? I have a feeling this ad was out before the trilogy not sure tho

Great commercial...I remember I really NEEDED this tune...but didn't know WHO it was. It's Dylan Rhymes btw, track is called Naked & Ashamed.
