I agree. Franco is one of best Manrico. Have also seen Lotrič life many times singing it and he was wonderfull too. Pavarotti is a legend in this role too.

Una spanna sopra a tutti il MITICO BONISOLLI : assolutamente SUBLIME !!! Negli ultimi 40 anni nessun tenore drammatico ha mai avuto la sua sicurezza e la sua estensione in acuto : BRAVISSIMO FRANCO !!!
Splendidi anche Manuguerra, Zancanaro, Giacomini, Cossutta e la Arroyo.
Pavarotti : GRANDISSIMO tenore lirico, qui palesemente fuori ruolo.
Alvarez : bella voce fuori repertorio ; il Verdi drammatico gli causerà una marea di problemi !
MANCA CORELLI PERO' ! Grave mancanza !!!

Bravo Bonisolli! As usual, both Manrico and Leonora should hit the high note as Eliane Coelho and Janez Lotric or as Callas and Di stefano did in 1956 year recording.

Yeah it was unwise of her to attempt it I think, it just doesn't seem to be within her range. Why bother when you have Bonisolli to cover you lol. The rest of her singing is gorgeous though!
