Sherlock & John || Falling Slowly

John finds out that he's dying. After he tells Sherlock, he realises Sherlock has a harder time dealing with it than he does. Realising he has to pull his friend through this, to make sure he'll be able to go on after John's passed away, John does everything to help Sherlock.
He reminds him of the great time they had together and tries to recreate their best moments together, but Sherlock doesn't respond very well. He's devastated by the news and desperate to find a cure. And it only gets worse as John's health deteriorates.
But eventually Sherlock honours his friends wishes, to spend John's final days as normal as they can, without dwelling on what's about to happen.
Then John dies. Sherlock feels left behind and is utterly destroyed by the news. But eventually it's the memory of his friend that gives him the strength to go on, and leave London to find a new beginning...


This vid was actually inspired by the work I did on I Love You (just not how you want me to), because there was one clip I'd found that didn't fit in there, but was so good, it inspired it's own story :D
You can see it near the end of the vid, it's where Sherlock is lying across his table, seemingly crying...

Also, credit where credit's due, so thanks to ImperviousAffinity, who's vid Sherlock/John : Brokeback Baker Street [BBC Sherlock] showed me the marvellous "John takes Sherlock's hand" - scene, something I would never have noticed myself :)

On a smaller note: this is my 100st vid! (Not counting the vid victims claimed by YT... RIP)

Also, sorry, I tried, honestly I did, but YT keeps blocking this song in actually quite a few countries...

I usually avoid death video's and fics like the plague, but when I clicked this one, I couldn't turn it off! I kept replaying it, and then I keep coming back to it every time I'm on the computer! It's brilliant; it really tugs at your heartstrings; it moved me to the verge of tears (Which is NOT an easy thing, I assure you!) It's really nice, and I love how you've put voice-over in it at different points. That scene with the table is heartbreaking, too! Really well done, I love this to bits! <3
