Here my favourite BBC Trade Test Tape DIXIELAND PARADE 3. Which is in 5 parts and altogether has a wapping 27 tunes. I will upload parts 2 to 5 Tomorrow. Below is the Complete Cue sheet with tune titles, Timing and Orch Details. This tape had a run of nearly 9 years in three seperate periods and was even used on BBC1 with less tracks than on this tape and was also Dixieland Parades 1 & 2. which covered the early years of DIXIELAND PARADE set. I do have the other two Dixieland Parade tapes but will not be uploading them at all so please dont ask for them. Enjoy these 72 minutes of sheer delight listening to this fabulous BBC Trade Test Music
.

  • This is my favourite tape, too. The one I remember fondest of all the trade test tapes. I notice that the title track is a little longer than I remember it, having an additional bit at the beginning.

  • @JFredUK The BBC used a abridged recording of Dixieland Parade, however I have obtained the unabridged recording of it. I also have the abridge recording but thought I'd use the full version of it on my upload of this most excellent and much loved trade test tape.

  • I like this very much. I invite you to take a look at my "Betchya Can't." It's not exactly Dixieland, but it has some of the same kind of appeal, I think.

  • @robinse28 I've just finished listening to all 5 of these videos and it took me back the best part of 30 years. Thanks once again!

  • Amazing! Fantastic tape
