  • @BRm2008 I know from your messages that you're a brain dead moron, who appears to be on a constant testosterone overdose. Seriously, you sound like an adolescent male, who acts all macho in front of his mates at school, then goes home and bawls his eyes out watching Titanic for the 1000th time. Grow up!

  • nettes video :)

  • One of the few I disagree with Mark in. I was glad that I finally got to see an 80's action movie done today. I really feared that they would put in "Matrixy" effects and was very relieved that they didn't stylize the violence. My friends and I even stood up and applauded at the climax...

  • I didn't see it. I assumed that the violence would be graphic and gratuitous. Also Goldsmith wasn't scoring this, which is the actual reason why I saw Part II in the cinema.

  • I think this review was unnecessarily harsh. As far as action films go, Rambo is pretty good. Yes, the film is incredibly violent, but it's centred around an incredibly brutal conflict, so expecting anything else would be a little silly.

  • Mark Kermode go and make your own film you pompous twat! Rambo was a great throwback film to the earlier 80's action flicks. Don't look into to deeply!

  • @Mistermax30 i have nothing against big explosions but at one point there is a limit as to what the certificate allows regarding the amount of violence. I don't need to be told by a film called Rambo that war is bad; that's as deep as that film gets. just watch the original; there is no need for this film. it's a waste of time and it's just there to grab your money but hey it's your choice. i prefer to keep my money for films that are worth it, not this crap.

  • @Regenmacher175 If you want a documentary, then I would suggest watching one. In case you misread the title of the film, its "Rambo". Rambo was a fictional, 1980's action/violence/superhero icon. For being what it is, the film had plenty to say. Preachy talk, in my opnion, will always take a back seat to brutal face to face no nonsense portrayals of a particular situation, any day of the week...

  • @Mistermax30 i'd rather have a film with a real opinion ay something about that conflict rather than have a human killing machine destroying people all in the name of revenge and stupid popcorn entertainment.

  • @Neonman78 What ever his supposed skills, he completely missed the mark on this one. I'm no slouch when it comes to film or art, and I thoroughly enjoyed Rambo...
