  • The name 'Anglerre' sounds like it could use a French pronunciation :p.

It seems interesting that, with the coming of 4e, a lot of alternatives of High-Fantasy games are popping out. This one seems very interesting, mostly because I like the world-creating business of the GM.

  • I prefer the spiral binding to a plastic comb. I get my PDFs bound at Staples for $3.49 a pop. The 20mm spiral binder can handle a 350 page document (175 sheets of paper). I must have a couple of jobs bound a month.

  • @asdf33 I never had a color copy made. But 300+ pages of duplex B&W was in the $22 range. I don't even want to know how much color would cost. I bought myself a Brother duplex laser printer for $180. I can make around 4000 duplex pages per toner cartridge. Which means around $5 for a 350 page bound document. I have one ready for binding today in fact...

  • @tetsubo57 How much does Staples charge per color sheet? (double-sided(??)

  • 4:01 But Conan is Sword and Sorcery. 4:41 *have

  • Since you're doing Cubicle 7, any chance of a Victoriana review?

  • While I am glad he reviews the game. I am worried we will see a whole bunch of just Fate product reviews in the upcoming weeks. I prefer to have a mix of reviews not the ones that have the same rpg rules.

  • @tetsubo57 Thanks for the info!

  • I never played a Fate game sadly but it's not from lack of trying. Very Excellent review. :)

  • I own Diaspora, which is also Fate-driven. It's a hard sci-fi-setting where you create your universe yourself. I like it a lot, and I wanted to play for quite a while, but I have to admit that I don't really get most of the rules. Fate reads very difficult and is probably best learned by playing. I'm really interested how it manages high magic.

  • Most people seem to have settled on Ahn-glare as the correct pronunciation.

It does sound a lot like French.
