Mansoor Faraj, an Egyptian Coptic Christian brother embraces Islam with his whole family. He offers his testimony of faith in the oneness of God and the prophethood of Muhammad (PBUH). He talks about his path to finding the truth amid all the twisted attacks on Islam among some of the Coptic Egyptians and the attacks on anyone who dares to converts to Islam in this Muslim country. Our new Brother Mansoor Faraj is joind by wife, his son, and two daughter. They all talk about how beautiful it is that they found the truth after existing in a void. The ladies get emotional when talking about the ONEESS of Allah the Allmighty (SWT), and about their fear of Azab Alqabr (torment of the grave) and the Hellfire. It is such a beautiful thing to see the whole family come to the light after living a void existance. MashaAllah!!!

  • I'm a Christian, and I love both Muslims and Christians! May we live in peace and harmony and bring prosperity to Egypt. Obviously I'm not happy when someone converts from being Coptic Orthodox to Islam but conversions to both sides happen daily in Egypt. I just hope the family knows the consequences of their action not just for now, but on the future as well.

    Salaam. :)

  • Salaam EgyptianPlanet, thank you for your fair comment. I personally wish that people who want to convert be allowed to do so freely specially in Egypt. And I mean both ways. Although as you said one is not happy seeing others leave what he/she believes, I still think that it is better to allow it and make it easy, since I don't want anyone pretending to be one religion when he/she is actually keeing his/her old religion just because of the fear and intimidation from both sides.

    Salaam

  • @limebint there is reason for that.

mohammed (pbuh) said every child born in religion of nature (Islam) but later on parents make that child jew or xian or pagan or fire worshipper. This is why whenever a person embrace Islam, we call he reverted back to Islam, religion he born with.

  • @islandluc sorry are you a human being or this is this a robot? hmm well if it doesn't respond than it definately is a robot.

  • Verily,Allah has cursed the disbelievers and prepared for them a Blazing Fire. Dwelling therein forever, and they will find no protector or helper. [al-Ahzab, 33:64-65] But those who reject Our signs and treat them with arrogancethey are the companions of the Fire, dwelling therein forever. [al-A'raf,7:36]

for ur mom- prophet said I looked into Paradise and saw that the majority of its inhabitants were the poor, and I looked into Hell and saw that the majority of its inhabitants were women.

  • alhamdu lellah

  • Allahu Akbar

Allahuma tagabalhum allauma thabethom 3ala deneka den al7ag ya rab al-almim.

  • Religion, as Gandhi said, is our mother. Would you change your mother for another woman, if she is much more perfect than your mother. I wouldn't. Same with religion. I am Catholic: my religion is very difficult, and full of mistakes and troubles and mysteries. But I won't leave this ship because water is leaking in. Rather, I want to help to throw the water away and make the ship to reach its destiny. I don´t know if it will do. But I'll to my part, the part of my life, in helping my church.

  • I once talked hours with a Moslem in Caracas, Venezuela. About religion. He didn´t understand much the concept of dialogue. He thought that, as I was not trying to convert him, I wanted myself to be converted to Islam. Unable to try him to understand another point of view except his, I told him about my mother. She is a fine woman, but also not always easy to live with. I know a lot of women who are more intelligent or even organized than my mom, but I would never trade my mom for other lady.
