@megagunnage007 I love Melbourne Victory but you are deluded to use such a word as passion to backup your argument - there's just as much passion in the AFL as there is in the A-League. The fans at a football game have no choice but to generate an atmosphere because most of the time the players sure as hell don't where Aussie Rules generates the excitement from what's happening ON THE FUCKING PITCH IDIOT.

When AFL has been in this country for 150 years, and NRL 100, you cant expect the A-League to come anywhere close to the exposure and crowds of the other 2 leagues in this country after just a handful of years. It wont happen over night, but it will happen. And anyway- 20,000 at a Victory match at Etihad is TWICE as loud as 50,000 for an AFL match at the same stadium, one word buddy- PASSION.
