@videogamester07 There was no need for the Hobgoblin to be rich, he found a stash of the original Goblin s outfit, gadgets, serum etc. I never said that Ned Leeds was the Hobgoblin, I still think Stern wanted to toy with the idea o few years more , but he got out of the book befroe. The Hobgoblin, showed science , and electronics knowledge, so Leeds doesnt fit. Maybe Stern wanted to introduce a new character. That was dikto s plan with the origina Goblin, Stan din t let him pull that one.

@Guywholovesbakon They explained that almost 20 years later, after Norman returned, Norman died back on 1973, Amaziing Spiderman 123, I dont buy, or give any credit to this stupid resurections. For me The original Hogboblin s Identity was Never revealed, the way I see it Stern was planning to take his time and eventually reveal the Hobgoblin s true identity. Probably Marvel fired him before her could tell his story, and Stern has always been a comapny man, never compalains. Be well.

@Guywholovesbakon But not on due time, If you took the time to read my post , on his original Run , which I loved Stern Never Hinted Kingsley, as the Hobgoblin. Many times in comics, when there is lack of original ideas they recycle old plots and come up with stupid stories, Ex: Jean Grey multiple resurrections, or the horrid Clone Saga, for me that stories never happened. The Makers of the comic can tell you that Spiderman never married Mary Jane, I digress, sales were bad too.

Actually you overlooked something dude, Rodrick Kingsly DIED after he came back to America. What happened was he found out that Norman was making some new Goblin gear. Some, one, (Dont ask me who i dont remember) Beheaded Rodrick Kingsly and took up the mantle of HobGoblin. However Kingsly was still the best.

Hobgoblin's origin and powers are awesome to me. He was pretty powerful in the first issue and didn't even really kno how to use his powers it was cool to see spiderman think he knos whats coming but his powers are different from the green goblins lasers and everything

i read a comic where the hobgoblin's face is some deformed creature and he keeps many people in a lair. Can u do a hobgoblin 102 about it.
