  • @Aitoish Yeah, I'm an idiot too. I actually bought that album years ago specifically for Ry Cooder and somehow forgot all about it.

    Actually it's Ry Cooder playing all the slideguitar parts as Eugene "finger synced" them on the parts where his face is shown. Quite realistic look-a-like playing for an non guitarist actor. Steve Vai is Jack Buttler and does some typical hard rock/heavy metal shredding. Nice movie.

  • you're all idiots. Steve Vai used the hell out of that technique on the Crossroads soundtrack.  Standard fucking blues, you knobs.
