  • @boyils12008 I thought you could do this with a tool called Anytime Upgrade. The MS site says that this is no longer active and I couldn't find it in my virtual Vista computer. The only other thing I can think of is a new install I'm afraid. Tim

  • @ugoboom100 k thxs, btw I upgraded from windows vista home basic to window 7 professional, I did the custom install, and it made a folder called windows.old folder, When i looked in there, I found it had all my Documents and all my stuff on there.:P

  • @sameagain2 no if you have windows vista home basic you have to upgrade to windows 7

    home basic without a clean install.

  • @sk8er5751 K just wondering, becuase after i downloaded the windows 7 upgrade advisor, and it scanned my computer it said i could straight upgrade to home basic and utimate. so yer

  • hi i am using vista sp1..as the problem is that my system dows not suppoort windows 7..but it works fine in vista ..y beacsue my graphic driver does not support 7..so if i upgrade..will my vista driver will work for 7

  • I have a problem, I am Dutch, so... my computer its language is in Dutch. I installed Windows 7 Ultimate, but its language is English... So I have to make my whole computer in english language, does anybody/Computeractive know how I can do that
