@sheltonstu That's record companies all over-brains for shit. Having said that there's a simple answer if both sides are thought of highly-a double-A! After all overrated curs and pointless tossers are always having them that way-Madonna the old bitch, George Michael, many 70s bands, and also all the no-talent tossers of today. It's especially important if, as a cool, underrated 80s talent (of which there were loads) you only get 3 releases an album if that. God, record labels!
Thank you for posting this song! I heard it only once before in 1990 on the b-side of my best friends sister's record of Dreaming. I thought I'd never hear it again. It should of been on the Best of album or at least on the B-side album. The memories just flood the mind when I hear this. Such a pleasant existance.
I remember seeing an interview with them (ironically on a Canadian channel we get by satellite) where they recorded this song as the "new" song to release the greatest hits package upon. This was to be the only new song on "The Best of OMD" album that came out in the late 80's. They presented this and Dreaming as the B-side. The record company then told them, that Dreaming was to be the hit and remixed it. This was then the Dreaming B-side. Great song
WOW great TUNE I too love OMD having seene them a few times back in the 80's and NEVER heard this song before REAL CLASSIC OMD signature sound...they wewre so creative before they went TOO commercial hearing this band again holds fond memories for me AND REMINDS me why I became a musician /electronic composer in the first place Joseph H

What a brilliant song. I heard it for the first time today. It's like finding treasure in a junk pile.
