why would you want to listen to beta waves it is the normal waking state?

@Whyisthat101 alpha and beta waves are just the definition for some frequency your brain perceive. When you "combine" two waves with different frequency you obtain simply the difference in absolute value, hence:

alpha frequencies: 7-13 Hz

beta frequencies: 13-40 Hz

so, suppose you want to use a beta wave for your Right ear and an alpha wave for your left one, the range of frequencies you'll able to cover is:

[(min(beta) - max(alpha)) +1, max(beta) - min(alpha)]

i.e. 1Hz up to 33Hz.

@ahmadomusic it's because for it works there is the need that one sound go to one ear and another different sound go to other. So that your brainwaves can be manipulated by the sound is difference.

3)Should I play this low or medium (in decibels, how loud)?

4)How frequent should I hear this a week? I just want to train my ears so they can hear high frequencies and make them good!
