LifeManual.com has started a new series called LifeStories. This LifeStory belongs to Nathan Mellalieu, founder and owner of Studeo55 in Vancouver, BC.
He was told three times he would never play again -- but his core values of passion and excellence kept him going. With casts on his legs connected by a bar as a toddler, two cracked vertebrae as a teen, and several concussions, Nathan never gave up. He had found his calling in football and there was no way he wouldn't play -- even though every opinion he thought seemed to point against it.
"Ever since I've been little it's been a struggle. I've never been the fastest or the strongest but I've always worked through it."
Nathan worked through his childhood health problems with sheer determination, a hard work ethic and the ability to focus on his passion. He became a captain and team leader in his sport, and he played!
This video tells his inspiring story in his own worlds. Meet Nathan!
