Dragon Age: Origins "Stat Reassignment Glitch"

UPDATE: It works even if the stat is 0.

I discovered this glitch while lurking in the Gamespot forums and promptly made a video of it.

In case you don't understand, here's a quick summary.

Add points to the stat you don't need (i suggest all of the points) and then click "reset". This will return the stats back to what they were before you added points. Because of the glitch, you can deduct the same amount of points you recently added from the stat you're changing.

Example:
Available points/AP: 6
Strength/STR: 20

20 + 6 = 26 ---) RESET ---) AP: 6 and STR: 20

Because of glitch ---) STR: 20 - 6 = 14 ---) AP: 12

Then ---) STR 14 + 12 = 26 ---) RESET ---) AP: 18

Did you only get the amount of points you "reserved" or did you manage to get unlimited points? - I'm asking because i saw someone on Youtube get unlimited points out of it.

Right. Upon further testing, you actually don't need to reserve points. Just keep adding and resetting and the amount of points you can reduce increases indefinitely.

In short, yes you can get unlimited points.

I don't think you could do this for the Console versions, as the game forces you to continue to skills/talents after adding stats. Why? I don't know, it just does. :/

it has a cool sideeffect because when you take about 40 points like that then you have -40 strengh but in the game - and + are the same so you can wear every armor and weappon WITHOUT ARCANE WARRIOUR
