Ann Rutherford (born November 2, 1920) is a Canadian-American actress in film, radio, and television. She has had a long career starring and co-starring in films, playing Polly Benedict on the big screen of the 1930s and 1940s in the Andy Hardy series, and on The Bob Newhart Show as Newhart's character's mother-in-law.

Her first film role was in Waterfront Lady in 1935. She appeared in eighteen films between 1935 and 1937. It was in 1937 that her first notable role came as Andy Hardy's girlfriend, Polly Benedict, in You're Only Young Once. In the long-running, Andy Hardy film series, she played Polly twelve times, with the last appearance being in Andy Hardy's Double Life in 1942. Ann also played Scarlett O'Hara's younger sister, Carreen, in the 1939 movie Gone with the Wind.

Frank Albertson (February 2, 1909 -- February 29, 1964) was an American character actor who made his debut in a minor part in Hollywood at age 13.

Albertson made well over one hundred appearances (1923--1964) in movies and television. He is probably best remembered for his role as Sam Wainwright, the businessman fond of saying "Hee-Haw" in the movie It's a Wonderful Life (1946). He played the wealthy rancher, Tom Cassidy, at the start of Psycho (1960), who provides the cash that Janet Leigh's character later steals.

Albertson portrayed future U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt in the 1956 episode "Rough Rider" of CBS's My Friend Flicka television series, starring Johnny Washbrook, Gene Evans, Anita Louise, and Frank Ferguson.

For contributions to the motion picture industry, Frank Albertson was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6758 Hollywood Boulevard.

Joseph Farrell MacDonald (June 6, 1875 -- August 2, 1952) was an American character actor and director. He played supporting roles and occasional leads. MacDonald, who was sometimes billed as "John Farrell Macdonald", "J.F. Mcdonald" and "Joseph Farrell Macdonald" as well other variations, appeared as an actor in over 325 movies over a 41 year career from 1911 to 1951, and directed forty-four silent films from 1912 to 1917.

MacDonald was the principal director of L. Frank Baum's Oz Film Manufacturing Company, and he can frequently be seen in the films of Frank Capra, Preston Sturges and, especially, John Ford.

Wardell Edwin "Ward" Bond (April 9, 1903 -- November 5, 1960) was an American film actor whose rugged appearance and easygoing charm featured in numerous roles.
