These 2 are forbidding people from eating pork thinking that they are following the law of God. they are like the Pharisee who went to pray in the temple (Luke 18.10-11), these are the people who think that by following the law of Moses they can achieve righteousness. Nobody has ever been able to keep all the law of Moses. We are all sinners. Those who obey God are the people who believe Jesus Christ for their righteousness and deny themselves.
