@MegaCPC Well... that's not entirely true. Where you start does make a difference, though not as muh as people seem to think. In my experience, (which , as a novice, is not very extensive yet) Chevies tend to have a naturaly wider track, but are aslo slightly heavier. And, of course, you don't get much more dirt worthy than a Jeep
@MegaCPC that is so true it comes down to the driver tire psi and in most cases the tire as well and it always helps to have a tow strap or chain and a shovel
@rkj4107 the front diff runs on the coast side of the ring and pinion, so no matter which direction, one of the diffs will be running on the "weaker" side. with that said, there's not nearly enough traction in the soft sand to be blowing a diff on any truck.
how does one get in a situation like this? i've never driven on sand. does the truck just sink sitting there? or do these people just punch it and watch the truck sink?
@MegaCPC aahh... and whats funny is half of the shit talkers on here arent old enough to drive yet, or are, and dont own a truck..... but i see your point now.
@deliveryboy1 Well obsiously a Jeep with half the weight and a short wheelbase is going to float in the sand. I think when I posted that comment people were arguing about the big 3 half ton trucks and which one was better off pavement.

1. Never pull in reverse
2. Jack up truck -fill in hole-drive out
3. Stay in bed.
