trust me dude... dont pick up real guitar.. its not easy in the early stages, its frustrating, esp for someone who thinks they can make the leap from 5 huge buttons and a strum button to over 100 tiny notes and 6 thin strings
AND NO FREE BIRD ISNT JUST 6 CHORDS, no guitarist could ever say they play free bird and just play the 6 backing chords... the hook of the song is the entire lead

acoustic sounds best form the rythem, but for the slide solo and the main solo, an electric would be best, rythem sound pretty good with a Strat aswell, if u turn the gain down to about 8 and switch to the middle and bridge pick-ups.

im 22 and have played this song on real guitar since i was 15 without any other guitarist and still get the crowds to go nuts...
then we got guys like this who think guitar hero has ANYTHING to do with real guitar
