"2nd Alarm Attic Fire" Lodi

LODI - The Lodi fire department was dispatched to 96 Prospect Avenue for a report of a fire sometime around 11 p.m. on February 5.

Police arrived first and reported a working fire in the attic of the home.

Lodi FD units arrived and reported heavy fire in the attic area of a 2.5-story dwelling.

Lines where advanced inside when firefighters encountered heavy fire. A 2nd alarm was then transmitted.

Mutual aid was requested directly to the scene.

As of this writing it is unknown whether injuries occurred, or the cause of the fire was.
