  • I used to be a volunteer at Steamtown, Carnforth, and travelled on 'Nelly' on the main line many times.

Great video, however, as the previous person mentions in his comments, steam engines are meant to be heard, why not edit it to do away the music?

  • Hi, glad you like the video. I had a feeling it was going to be a bad move adding music to it. I have deleted both the video that was stored on the camcorder. I still have the edited video on the PC but the sound & music are both "moulded" onto that video so I am unable to re-edit it without the music. However, that very same locomotive will be paying another visit to the harbour in August 2007, so I will keep your advice to mind when I do the next video.

  • Great video and fantastic music to go with it! Good call, Kraftwerk are all about the machine, and this is a BEAUTY of a machine. Good effort!

  • lovely video, but anychance of one without the music? distracts tbh, steam engines are quite good at providing their own soundtrack, especially when on a gradient!
