Our human nature project investigated the blurred line between virtual and real-world interaction of the LAN (local area network) gaming subculture. We investigated topics such as the level of social interaction in LAN gaming compared to other social situations or to other types of games such as MMOs (massive multiplayer online games). In addition we discussed the change in social patterns such as language, in and out of the LAN environment.

Enjoy!
